Mansfield House: Where Every Path Leads To Something Good
(As told by Penny “Popsicle” Turner—purveyor of sweet treats, self-proclaimed ski enthusiast, and firm believer that you’re never too cold for a little sweetness.)
The second my skis click off, I know exactly where I’m headed. Mansfield House’s ski locker is just steps away, and within moments, my gear is tucked inside, leaving my hands free for more important things—like checking on today’s popsicle toppings in the café. So many great options – too many to decide on now. But first – pizza.
Within minutes I’m at the pizzeria getting my go-to slice. I step outside in the crisp air, warm slice in hand, the plaza humming with après-ski energy. That’s when I see it—a new scarf in the shop window. Deep cranberry red with flecks of gold, a perfect addition to my ever-growing collection. I already know I’m taking it home.

But I’m not done yet. One last stop – The Spa. I take the short walk, the kind that lets you breathe in the mountain air without making you regret taking your gloves off. Within minutes, I’m sinking into a deep soak, muscles melting, already debating my post-dinner popsicle selection…and which jacket will go best with my new scarf for tomorrow’s adventure.
That’s the beauty of Mansfield House—at the heart of it all.

Stories Begin Here (And So Do A Few Pranks)
Hi, I’m Charlie MacAllister—though my friends call me “Chuckle.”
I’ve spent my life watching the lifts, and these days, I still do—from the comfort of my home in the MacAllister Collection.
This is where stories are swapped, pranks are pulled, and life is easy. Fully appointed with everything I need, from a kitchen inspired by the golden era of U.S. ski style to a living space as welcoming as a well-worn pair of ski boots.
After a long day, I retreat to my bedroom overlooking the plaza, dreaming of tomorrow’s adventures. There’s also an office that transforms into a bunk room, a dining alcove for sharing stories, and an entryway with room for gear.
And when the whole MacAllister crew rolls into town, we take over the entire collection. With four different floor plans to choose from, deciding who stays where is almost as competitive as our annual ski race.

Room for Everyone (Even Rival Siblings)
Hi, I’m Gretchen Greenleaf—joined, of course, by my twin brother, Gus (he insisted on that part).
Between you and me, I won the coin toss—again. Gus keeps saying it’s rigged, but let’s be honest… skill is skill.
Welcome to The Greenleaf Collection—our home base for family takeovers, sibling showdowns, and late-night debates over who won the last ski race.
Upstairs? The loft and bunk room are kids-only territory. Four bunks, a sleeper sofa for our cousin Angus, and plenty of space for ghost stories, backgammon tournaments, and strategizing our next adventure. The open layout means we can see every time someone sneaks the last slice of pizza from the pizzeria.
Downstairs? It’s just as impressive. Three bathrooms, a dining alcove, custom cabinetry, and soaring 20-foot ceilings (we’re still competing on who wins the pitch to the parents—Gus wants a basketball hoop or climbing wall, I’m holding out for a trampoline). And with a dedicated ski locker at plaza level, we’re always first to the lifts.
And when we need a break? We head downstairs. The café’s always got something good, and there’s always room for one more round of checkers at our favorite spot by the fire—where Gus is likely plotting his next mid-game rule change.
So whether it’s family gatherings, ski weekends, or just stretching out after a long day on the mountain, The Greenleaf Collection is where the stories begin. And trust us—our stories are legendary.
(Just don’t ask Gus who won our last race. He’s still bitter about it.)

There’s something special about mornings at Mansfield House. I slip on my coziest sweater and make my way into the kitchen. The coffee’s brewing. The pan in warming. And before long, the sweet scent of pancakes fills the air.
That’s how I like to start the day here in my residence that is part of The Davenport Collection. The residences are a dream – bright, welcoming, and wonderfully made for people who love being together. The heart of the home? A bright, open space that flows from the kitchen to the living room to the dining nook – anchored by a wall of big bay windows that make you want to stay awhile.
Once everyone’s fed and bundled, I grab my go-to crimson ski jacket (that just so happens to match my signature lipstick), and we head downstairs to the ski lockers. In minutes, we’re catching first chair with fresh tracks calling our names. And when the sun sets? That’s when I play host, with neighbors stopping by, kids in the bonus room, and stories filling the living room.
Whether you’re a party of six or a full house of nine. there’s a floor plan that fits just right. Fully furnished, beautifully appointed, and built with space for everyone to gather, these residences are the very soul of Mansfield House living.
